VEGETABLES
Our Vegetables
Hakunou grows vegetables steadily throughout the year in Mitsu-cho, Tatsuno City, Hyogo, one of the Kansai region's leading daikon and carrot producing areas. We deliver seasonal vegetables raised on this blessed land near the sea, with reliable quality, all year round.
FIELD
In the Kansai region's largest farming area.
Our vegetables are grown on Narayama-Shinden, reclaimed land in Tatsuno City, Hyogo, and in Karuya, where we grow field crops on former rice paddies. On this blessed land near the sea, we deliver vegetables of consistent quality, steadily.
Farming with care for the global environment is part of who we are. We put soil building first and keep chemical fertilizers and pesticides to a minimum. Under the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' MIDORI Strategy for Sustainable Food Systems, our vegetables have earned the top 3-star rating on the environmental "visibility" label. We have also obtained Hyogo Prefecture's Hyogo Anshin Brand and Hyogo Recommended Brand certifications.
